William Eubank (born November 15, 1982) is an American film director, cinematographer and director of photography.[1] For his 2011 feature film Love, in addition to directorial and director of photography duties, Eubank also served as production designer, a combination of skillsets noted in the film's review in Variety.[2]

Eubank began working as a director at age 18, creating commercials for Mikasa and other clients. He worked at Panavision in Woodland Hills, California for eight years, as a camera technician and digital imaging technician.[3]
A number of Eubank's works feature the use of in-camera speed 'ramping'. Shots of this style were featured in his Mikasa spots and in reels for Honda, Adidas, Skullcandy, and others. Eubank was later hired by the UFC to film fights in this style.[3] Some of Eubank's dream-quality style choices may be understood by his preference for Expressionism, taking inspiration from the philosophy of director Stanley Kubrick that "a film is - or should be - more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme... the meaning, all that comes later."[4]
Eubank has recently completed work on the motion picture Love, a project four years in the making in which he was both director and cinematographer. The film, commissioned by the alternative rock band Angels & Airwaves, was premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in February 2011, and is expected to be released into theaters sometime later in 2011. Early press for Love has made note of the fact that Eubank, apparently also serving as the film's production designer, constructed both the International Space Station and Civil War-battleground sets for the film in his parents backyard himself over the course of 9 months.[5][6]
